I have also heard that there were a few students from India at Pilot. You
meet all kinds wherever you go. It does help to go somewhere and try and get
familiar with the culture and laws.

Hi Lisa, I know that The Seeing Eye accepts students from Canada.  
I thought at one time they accepted students from Israel, too, but I'm not
sure about that.  One of the things that could be a barrier would be
language.  As you know from your own training, instructions are often
detailed.  So either the person would have to speak and understand English
well, or might have to bring an 
interpreter.  I guess you'd have to ask around.    Peace,
