Very cool, Vivianna! Also very neat that the dog/obstacle was so nice! I
seldom run into nice dogs in my neighbourhood!

and, now, for my story..

We were having one of those days of high wind and severe cold. I and the
dog were bundled up to go to Walmart for something or other that was vital
to get that particular day.

We have to cross at a t intersection to get to the WalMart driveway. As we
were getting to the last section of road before the up curb, Maggie starts
dancing around, snaking this way and that, etc. This is not normal for her,
so I of course followed her, but made uncomplimentary mutterings under my
breath in regard to her dance moves. We finally got to the up curb and this
person came running up to us and grabbed my arm. Apparently, there was a
downed power line and Mags had gotten us around the thing, which was jumping
all around, etc. When we came out of Walmart some time later, they were
still fixing it and we had to navigate around the hydro trucks out there on
the way home, but the live wire had already been dealt with, thank God!!

Long live smart dogs!!

Caitlyn and Maggie
