Hi, Sherrill,
I appologize if this message is really late, but Odie ended up dealing with an attack once, but it happened during training at Pilot.
He was able to still remain a guide dog ten years back as I just kept working with him.
We've dealt with harassments and even when he became a medical alert response service dog, we still faced them.
Needless to say, he had no trouble defending himself or me.
Odie was originally my late husband's medical alert response service dog once my husband found out he was diagnosed with congenitel heart failure.
When Dale past away from a massive heart attack almost three years ago, I ended up having to have Odie as my MAR dog after being diagnosed with a seizure disorder.
He would let me know immediately if a seizure was coming on.
Now that he's twelve years old, going blind ect, he's officially retired.
He is definitely worth a keeper in my book.
Blessings,
Bibi
