thank you for that suggestion.  I found out that her puppy raiser kept her 
in a crate.  So it will be a matter of introducing her to it again.

Hello,
What I have always done, is feed my dogs in their crates. Every time they 
eat, or if I give out a bone for them to chew, it happens in their crates. 
So they develop a natural association between their crates, and something 
they love very much, like food. If your girl is food motivated, you might 
try that.  Good luck
