[NAGDU] Uber and NAGDU

Nancy sit on the seat and feel if there is room enough on the passenger
side. If not, simply ask the driver to move the passenger seat forward.
Teach your dog to back into the floor space with the nose of the dog
pointing towards the door you are going to exit.

Just a couple of ideas for everyone.

Becky and Jake who says , better to do that then get my fluffy tail caught
in the door.

My husband and I sometimes travel together in an Uber and we find that
sometimes it is unavoidable to put the dog on the backseat. We have put our
jackets down on the seat if there was a concern of dog hair. However, what I
find is most often there is not enough floor space to put the dog on the
floor of the vehicle anyway.

I do educate these drivers and tell them that service dogs need to have 4 on
the floor sitting or laying down, under the handler's control and that if
the dog is out of control and the handler does not take action to correct
it, that they can be asked to remove the dog. I'm just wondering if NAGDU
is working with Uber to try and educate these drivers platform-wide?
