[NAGDU] Nexguard experience

I decided to try the Nexguard flea and tick pill this year. It seemed like
a good alternative to the nasty flea goo. I gave it to both my dogs last
month. 24 hours later, Krokus vomited 3 times, and was trembling and
obviously uncomfortable. The vet did not find anything wrong, but gave him
an anti-nausea shot, and then he was OK.

I am not sure if it was the pill, or if he picked something up somewhere. I
asked 3 vets, and they didn't know if it was the pill, either. However,
vomiting is a possible reaction.

So I decided the pill wasn't such a good idea for us, and took them back for
a credit at my vet's. It's back to the Cedarcide for us, which seems like
the least obnoxious alternative.

I did ask around, and other users have not had problems. So who knows.

Just thought I'd share.

Tracy
