[NAGDU] collar question

When I brought Thai home, he was wearing a slip chain (choke chain)
with the tags attached at the middle. I switched collars after being
home for a while. He now wears a nylon buckle collar with his tags all
the time. When he's working, he generally wears either a Halti or
martingale in addition to the flat collar.

All of my dogs wear collars with tags in the house so I can keep track
of them more easily and I perchased a collar bell for Thai to make it
even easier to interrupt a counter surfing attempt. The signature
jingle of each dogs tags are also really helpful in a larger outdoor
area with multiple dogs. I never thought about the sound of collar
tags attracting other dogs' attention, but it actually makes a lot of
sense to me. I find the echo of the tags really helpful though, which
I don't even realize I'm using until I don't have it. When I have my
dog leash-guide in just a flat collar, the tags don't make much noise
because they are attached to the same ring as the leash, and
everything sounds so different.
