[NAGDU] Amusement Parks: Whether or Not to Leave Guide Dog at Home

We've been to amusement parks multiple times.
Usually staff are really good about service animals.
Since you're going with a friend or friends, I'd recommend to assign a person you trust to hold on to your dog while you're enjoying the ride. That's how we do it.
I ask chief to sit and stay and wait for me with a friend. He does. When I get back, we move on.
Have a good time and make sure you bring enough water and some snacks for your guy. Also, take breaks, have a tea or coffee.
I also bring a mat, which chief lays on when he waits. Feels like home :)
Amusement parks are hard work.
Best,

Sonja and Chief :)

I think the would do fine for the animal shows because she has been to fair and proven to be very solid around different animals; my biggest concern is what to do about the rides. Would it be best to leave her at home? It is such a long time to leave her, but my mother said that she would check on her and relieve her if I decide to leave my dog home. I still don't know if I like the idea, and I am wondering what y'all have done in similar situations. Have any of you taken a guide to an amusement park? If so, what have you done with them when going on rides and such?
