[NAGDU] training my own again

Rox:

You have me laughing at the description of Soleil as a coffee table with
ears and a mouth. You forgot to mention the tail which with a lab is always
wagging. I think it is great you were able to keep Laveau and Mill'e when
they retired.

I really wanted to keep Tara when she retired. Tara did live with me for
six months but then I had reached the limit on my credit cards paying for
her vet bills. I could no longer afford to pay for her daily meds and her
monthly shots and laser treatments. I had no choice but to find her a
loving home with someone who could afford to give her the cair she needs.
Not a day goes by that I don't miss her terribly. Eva misses Tara too.
Instead of cuddling up with Tara she cuddles up as close to me as she can
get. Eva tries to get her life size golden puppy to play with her and is
always leaving a few of her toys lying by the stuffed puppy's head. I feel
so bad for Eva when the stuffed puppy fails to play and Eva comes rubbing up
to me with a pitiful whine. Eva was so young at fourteen months when I
brought her home and I think she got a lot of comfort from Tara being with
her. Give Soleil, Laveau and Mill'e some extra hugs for me.

Yes, Laveau my Dobe mix and Origami dog is 25 inches and maybe 55 lbs on a
fat day. Most of it is leg and she honestly folds up better than my Lab
Soleil who is 20 inches and the same weight, and who's build resembles
nothing so much as a coffee table with ears... and a mouth because she's a
lab.
They both fold up small, just differently. These dobes sound really neat
though!
