Congratulations!

I've not done a ton of research on spaying/neutering, but I don't think 
6 months old is too young.  I've heard of a lot younger for sure.  I 
think the longer that you can wait, the better.  It's surgery and that's 
hard on baby puppies.  Still there is the social and behavior issues to 
deal with if you wait too long. What does the vet say?

As for names...the first thing to pop into my head was Bob, because of 
her tail.  What that says about my sense of humor, I'm not sure.   
Perhaps she could be Bobbie, more feminine! LOL  I hope you can come up 
with something better.

And yes, please do post training updates.  I'd love to follow along!
