We're just back from Ireland! It was great!

I had absolutely no access problems in Ireland. Krokus was welcome
everywhere we went.

We used a few escalators, and no one said anything about it. A couple had a
moving sidewalk before and after the stair part. I didn't like that,
because it was hard for me to tell when I should cue Krokus to jump. He did
OK anyway, but I avoided them after the initial experience. They were in
the Guinness Brewery.

I managed to sprain my ankle 2 days before we took off, so I couldn't walk
as much as I'd have liked. For once, I appreciated Krokus's leisurely pace.

Krokus did well, lying on our tour bus, and adapting to the change in
residence every couple days. He was awesome, working through a crowded
shopping district in Galway. He got very good at following whoever from our
group we were with. I told him that, now we're back, he'll have to get used
to being in the lead again. But I appreciated his ability to stick with our
people.

He enjoyed grazing on tasty Irish grass, and he tried to snarf dropped food
in the pubs. A person I was talking to in a pub had the perfect description
for him: Chancer. Krokus is a chancer, if there ever was one. But I was
glad to have him along. It was worth the trouble of getting the paperwork.

No one ever actually asked for his paperwork. The USDA site says dogs can
only enter through Dublin, but I asked the Agriculture Ministry folks in
Ireland, and they said Shannon was fine. And it was.

The whole experience was terrific. We're already figuring when we can go
back, and what we want to do next time.

Tracy
