[NAGDU] Travelling to Jamaica?

Hi all,
I think I've answered my own question with a quick google search. Here's what I found... Guess if I go I will not be bringing my guide dog.

•No dog or cat shall be imported into Jamaica except such an animal  was born and breed in Great Britain, Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland. This applies to Guide Dogs also. Dogs and Cats vaccinated against rabies are not allowed entry into Jamaica.

I sort of thought Jamaica didn't allow any outside dogs, but could be wrong.
Cheryl Echevaria, who was or is the president of the travel and tourism division, has lots of info about travelling to the Caribean.  Her email might be findable in a list of divisions, if there is such on NFB.org.

Hi all,
My step-sister is getting married next June and is having a destination wedding in Negril, Jamaica. I'm considering going, but wonder what all I would need to do to prepare for the trip, regarding taking my guide dog. I need to get a passport for myself too! *smiles* Has anyone on this list travelled to Jamaica and if so what are the steps I need to take to get clearance for Mambo to accompany me on my trip? When should I start the process, and so on? Thanks so much for all your help!
