[NAGDU] Dog toys

If you want squeaky, I'd suggest Cuz or Ruffians. Both are made by JW Pet.
They are pretty durable and will hold up to all but the very hardest
chewers.

For food stuffable toys I like the Monster Mouth by JW Pet or the old stand
by Kong. I have a new food fillable textured ball that just arrived. It
looks promising, but I haven't let the dogs try it out yet.

For tug toys I like the Invincible Chain, again from JW Pet or the Buddha
ropes. The rope is cotton braid and can certainly be eaten, so close
supervision with that one.

I also like Westpaw Design. We have just one of their toys...buni, I think
it's called. It's Jetta's favorite...well after her nyla bones. It's a
softish rubbery material called zogoflex I think. When I first got it, I
didn't think there would be any way it would hold up. We've had it for
three years or so now and there's not even a tooth mark on it. That's
saying something. Jetta goes through one of the hardest and biggest
nylabones in a few months.

If you like to play Frisbee, I like the Kong flyer. It's a kind of floppy
rubbery silicone type of material. Monty loves to play Frisbee, but a lot
of them we tried got sharp bits of plastic pretty quickly, causing his mouth
to bleed. The Kong flyer does not do that so I feel safe letting him catch
it. It is a bit harder for me to throw, but since we are just playing in
the yard not in any sort of competition, it works just fine.

Subject: [NAGDU] Dog toys

Hi everyone,

My husband's guide has a birthday coming up next month, and I'm wondering
what toys your guides love. This furry pal is a 65-lb black lab.

He has a kong, nylabone, and squeaky football. His favorite is the squeaky
football, but I have a hunch his favorite toy will be no more within a
couple months if he continues to shred the felt that covers the leather. He
seems to enjoy the squeaky nature of this toy.

He also loves his nylabone.

We're highly considering the Hikama from Ruffwear and the Goughnut toys have
also been recommended. Any other recommendations would be very much
appreciated.

Thanks as always for your help, and have a wonderful weekend!

Best wishes, Miranda
