Hello list,
My last couple of years as a guide dog handler have been rough. I am working my third dog since 2015. I hoped to be one of those handlers who had smooth transitions between dogs. That was not to be. I am working my first female dog and we have had a Struggle since we were matched three months ago. I until recently thought it was two steps back for every step forward. While we still have a lot of work to do I am finally able to see measurable progress! Sorry for the long post but I am overall very proud of my girl.
