[NAGDU] Belto's Problems mostly resolved.

Hi Jordan,
Ah, dog distractions! Ari gets dog distracted as well. But nothing I can't
handle.

What I do is think about where I will be going. Which means know your area.
Know where you are most likely to run into pet dogs. And when. Many people
walk their dogs in early morning and then supper time after work. Put the
pinch collar on Balto.

I find that guide dogs do recognise another guide dog. They know what the
harness looks like and hear the same commands that they follow. Dogs are
excellent with body language in humans and other animals.

A friend will hear a dog coming and he will stop, put his dog at sit, and
wait for the dog to pass. As long as your dog stays seated, give calm
praise for maintaining the sit. If your dog breaks the sit, correct and put
it at sit again.

HTH!

Lyn and Aristotle, my 10th guide
