[NAGDU] Grain vs. Other Food

Well, I got my small bag of American Journey lamb and sweet potato yesterday and, my puppy absolutely loves it.
it does have a bit lower fat content at %12 with a protein level of %30
I also really like another 5 star brand called Nulo Freestyle. The fat content is higher at %18 and the protein is %33.
I have a big bag of the Nulo turkey and sweet potato but, my puppy was having digestive issues so i changed to a lower fat content just to see if it would help.
his poop was awesome this morning since i gave him the Perfect Form starting last evening. For some the higher fat food would cause your dog to be more energetic, but, if you work your dog a lot it would be a great food.
I like that Nulo is made in Austin Texas and they pride themselves on making very fresh food that has not been sitting on a shelf for months.

>> Hi Becky, II feed Darcy Wellness Core Wild Game. It is grain free. I was feeding her Natures Recipe Venison and rice but she was gaining to much weight. One of the reasons I am feeding her the Wellness Core food is because it is high in protein and low in carbs and has good vegetables in it. She weighs about 65 pounds and has stablized her weight there.

She is four ytears and about 68 pounds. Can you explain to me the debate of grain vs. non-grain food? I do not understand what the idea of both is all about. Thanks.
