[NAGDU] Beware the thinking dog

You know that poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow that goes
There was a little girl,
And she had a little curl
Right in the middle of her forehead.
When she was good
She was very, very good,
And when she was bad she was horrid.
I think he wrote it for Soleil.
I am teaching summer school at 2 different locations one of which is a crazy maze of halls and backless steps and classrooms subdevided with cubicles. I am so confused and still can't figure out where I should be and this was my 3rd day. But fear not, Soleil know where to go, and get me into and out of, the building slick as you please. And boy was she proud.
So we get home and she decides to reward herself. So she went to the fridge, opened it, and removed the porkchops I had placed in there for tonight's dinner.
I noticed that she had opened the fridge, which happens fairly frequently— she taught herself to do this... And usually she just opens it and leaves. So I shut the fridge and walk into the bedroom, where Soleil is laying on the bed with the porkchops. She spots me heading her way, immediately hops up and brings me the bag of porkchops as if to say this was her intent all along !be waiting for me in the bedroom in case I wanted to munch on some raw pork chops.
The problem with brilliant thinking dogs is that you can't turn it off! They're brilliant ALL THE TIME and if you're not one step ahead you are going to regret it.
