Hello there,

Guiding Eyes for the Blind, (GEB) is where both of my guide dogs have
come from. With my first dog in 2002, treats were not used. When I
returned for my second guide dog in 2010, treats were used. Cash, my
current guide dog loves edible treats, but he loves verbal and physical
praise as well. In the beginning, I used more treats, and will resort to
using treats when in new places.

When I got my first guide dog and even with Doc, praise was the reward. Granted both of my boys liked to eat - both have been labs.
