I'm inclined to agree with Raul, but i did try it at my old complex and i took Doc with me to check it out but both my husband and I leave "the fellas" in the air conditioning!
Doc's nosey and has been known to eat sticks and barf, so yeah... not taking Doc to the pool.
I did while i was in college though he watched me a lot people said but that was an indoor pool.

Sorry if I muddied the waters.
Nancy & Doc

That being said, I don't think I would take my dog to the pool area even though I can legally do so. If I was constantly wondering if my dog is doing okay, not being bothered, and not feeling uncomfortable, I wouldn't enjoy myself I don't think.

>> Hi all, I have a legal question that I need help with. I live in a 55 + community and we have a pool for the community. I wanted to know if I can bring Darcy with me to the pool and put her on tie down while I swim? They ban pets of course but I wanted to know how I should handle this. I would of course put her under an umbrella and have something for her to lay on. Or is it better to get there by cane and leave her home.
