[NAGDU] time to think about which guide dog school to apply to

So if you have a list of what you are looking for then you should continue
to interview the schools asking them the questions. Most of us are graduates
of a school and will think it is the greatest of them all. For instance, I
can't imagine why you find TSE close to the bottom of the list and would
wonder what you seek that puts them there, but that isn't the object of this
quest. I think only you can get the objectivity you want by finding out all
you can about the schools through their sites and through interviews. If you
know someone who has gone to one, you should speak with them one-on-one. But
I would suggest you shoud ask us about the schools some of the questions
that are on your list, especially if you don't want a debate about
ownership.

Hi Jordan, Jeff and List,

I have made my list and GEB is at the top. TSE is toward the bottom, and
Leader is in the middle somewhere. I will not go into my criteria here, but
I have gone through the process.

I'm just focusing on the schools that do not grant ownership and Listers'
experiences. i.e. have people had issues with nonownership schools where
the school gave them a hard time about keeping their dog etc.

And, I was told yesterday by Admissions at GEB that they do not grant
ownership. Maybe they used to. I didn't ask when that changed.

Thanks,
Brenda
