I heard the EMT's checking her for a stroke, it sure was a wonderful thing
to see Sully do, very heartwarming.

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to tell you all about my experience yesterday shopping with
Sully. We were out shopping with my mom when an elderly (80ish) year old
lady passed out right next to us. Everyone around us was totally panicking
(including my mother) and I got down on the floor with Sully and felt around
until I found the lady. She could not speak or move so I thought she had a
stroke so I called 911. Sully laid on the floor right next to her and never
moved. He laid his head right next to hers and never even lifted it up. It
was a good 15 minutes before the EMT's got there and there was total chaos
around us. I held the ladies hand and Sully just stayed by her side, never
moving a mussel. I explained to the lady that I was blind and Sully is my
guide dog, and it was okay for her to pet him. thinking it would keep her
calm. When the EMT's finally got there they asked the lady if Sully was her
dog and I explained that he was mine. They both commented that he played a
huge part in calming down the situation. When we stood up to leave he kept
turning around checking on her. I kept praising the heck out of him and we
made a stop in the dog treat isle on our way out.

I could not have been more proud of him in what was a very stressful
situation. just wanted to share a nice story.

Janell and Sully
