You understand!  Yea for history!

I am not all that old, but have made an effort to understand disability 
history, culture and law.  In some areas we have made so much progress in 
achieving equality.  Then in other areas...I am just saddened.   I think 
it's so important to understand the history, so we can learn what did and 
didn't work, so we don't repeat the mistakes.

Perhaps all those who require a service animal and use one could wear
the black triangle, Julie.  Penalties could even be levied against those
who should wear them and do not wear them and against those who wear
them 'illegally'.  That way everyone would be safe from suspicion.  The
public would be safe from making unfounded assumptions and authorities
could be called to mediate disputes.  If you are old enough, or read
history, I think you've probably heard that  one before
