Irish comes with me and lays at the foot end of the chair which is pretty
out of the way. I had a picture of him at one time where he was down at the
foot end fo the chair and his head was right between my feet and he was
watching the dentist. I got up after a particularly lengthy visit once when
my tooth was being prepared for a crown and he got up and came and gave me a
big lick across the face. I've put him down and told him to stay and he's
always been very quiet and stayed put through the whole appointment.

What do other people do with the dog when they visit the dentist? For a
long time, I've had my husband come with me to hold the dog, but that's not
always convenient for him. It's a long walk with a lot of traffic, so I
want Krokus's services, but, when we arrive, the office is very small. The
chair, the dentist, and his assistant take up almost all the space, and I
don't think there's room for the dog to be out of the way. I'd also have to
try really hard not to squeak when they hurt me, which would make Krokus get
up to investigate the problem. I'm not sure I can do that.
So what do other people do?
I think this is my message limit, so I'll say thanks in advance and listen
quietly.
Tracy
