I found out that the powder that makes urine more solid is called sodium
polyacrylate.

I also found out that, at least in theory, the way to get a male to urinate
into a bag is to attach both handles of the bag to the bely clips on the
harness, so the bag is hanging under his belly instead of between his hind
legs.

So I guess I'll give this a try some time this weekend.
