Oh, she absolutely does, and she does excellent work. You won't be disappointed at all. I've owned a couple of her harnesses, and they're as good as anything out and better than a lot.

The action for closing them is somewhat stiff, and the fasteners do not lock opened. Thus, I don't remove it often.

The ones she uses are larger ones, and I haven't had any failuers on them. I think Guiding Eyes also uses these, but they might use metal ones. The connection on Julie's handles is pretty sturdy with very little play, made more so because the metal stock she uses for the handles is lfat, so the buckles can snug up to the handle very closely. It's a pretty good design.

However, i don't really like that they use bolt snaps as standard. There are far too many ways those move for my liking. I'm told, however, that Bridgeport will substitute spring snaps instead, which is probably a better option. Anyway, handles are hard, but this might be your best option for a drop-in replacement for just a handle.

>>> Hi all! I am hoping that some people who use a harness with a removable handle respond to this email. My dogs come from the Seeing Eye and the handle on the Seeing Eye harness does not remove. I know their harnesses that have easily removable handles. If you use one of those, why do you like it. When I get in to the car I usually remove my dogs harness. This is because it seems like it’s more comfortable for the dog and also sometimes the reflector tape has scratched up The dashboard on people’s car. So I removed the harness for those two reasons. It’s become just a habit. But I wonder if it would be more convenient to have a harness with a removable handle. I’m getting my next dog at the end of September. After I come home I could switch to one of these harnesses. Is it difficult for the dog to make the switch? How do you know which harness to get? Thanks so much for any help!
