If the Nylabone is small enough for her to gnaw the end off, I toss it 
as soon as gets flat.  That is why I buy the bigger round ones with a 
knot at each end. Both our pet dog and Get a lot of satisfaction from 
the nubby circular Nylabone one that sonfire11 mentioned.
