My Mallory had incontinence. I noticed there were little puddles so I took her to the vet. With medication, there were no problems. There are many reasons why a dog might wet frequently in the home. I had a dog with a small bladder and for that reason, I took her out about 7 times a day. She did not have accidents in the house. Since I knew she had a small bladder I took it upon myself to take her out more frequently. At anyone's house, she was always on leash.

Sometimes dogs wet shortly after returning home. When that happens a dog should be on leash at all times or in a crate where said dog can see his or her owner. There can be a UTI that causes the problem. Kidney infection is another reason. The one that is common among some dogs is behavioral. The people I have known realized that was an issue. Their dogs didn't mind being in a crate or on tie down.

Howard, I know you said you would call the school. Let us know the outcome. Staff prefers to hear from us when a problem is consistent as opposed to waiting so long that the issue cannot be resolved.
