[NAGDU] Owner training

Let me try again, because clearly I didn't communicate very well.

I think in order to be successful with owner training you have to do it for 
yourself, not to prove anything to anyone else.  Whether or not that is you, 
I have no idea.  I don't know you or your situation any more than what you 
share here.   Your response to me does demonstrate a lot of anger though. 
I'm not upset.  I can empathize, you've had a rough go with your dogs and 
the programs and the trainers.  I get how that would be stressful.

If you want to owner train your next dog, I wish you all the best.  Anything 
I can do to support you is still on offer.  I freely give of my time 
privately to other owner trainers, in the group phone chat and at the 
retreat.  I want owner training to be a respected option and do whatever I 
can to promote it responsibly.  I will never tell anyone else what they 
should or shouldn't do, but if I'm asked for an opinion I will share what I 
think with honesty and kindness because that is what I hope to get from 
others.

I do, but you already knew that.  Owner training is...not for everyone, but
that sounds rather lame.   I think you have to have some very strong reasons

for wanting to owner train and they really need to be intrinsic.  Anger or
revenge or proving something to others  isn't enough mental fuel to carry
you through the owner training process.

If you'd like to talk feel free to give me a call.  I think you have my
number, but if not send me a private email and I'll send it to you.  The
phone invitation goes out to anyone interested in owner training.

I also host a free conference call every other Saturday and I am hosting a
second meet up in Kansas City over Memorial Day weekend.  It's also free,
scholarships are available, to anyone interested in owner training.  You
don't need to be an owner trainer to attend either the phone conference or
meet up.   You do need to be an owner trainer in some stage of the process
to qualify for the scholarship though.  Email me for more info,
