[NAGDU] O and m immersion programs

Leader Dogs has offered their O & M training for many years to anyone,
regardless of the guide dog school of your choice.

I know several people who have had 2, 3 or more guide dogs who have taken
the class at Leader prior to being partnered with a successor guide dog.
They have found it very beneficial and learned a great deal.

I have been accepted to attend Leader Dogs O & M class this October 2019. My
current guide dog is getting close to retirement. I feel I can benefit and
sharpen my Orientation and mobility skills by attending the class. In
addition, I can work on polishing my skills as I take the next year to
retire my current guide. Like many, after working with a guide dog for
several years, my cane skills have suffered and are in need of work!

In my opinion, any IGDF and/or ADI accredited guide dog school who offer
orientation and mobility class, would be excellent to attend.

Take care,
Sarah

Better than the ones offered by GDB partner organizations?
