[NAGDU] Do you have a cane when walking with a guide dog?

I have one of those little emergency or ID canes. It's about 4 feet long, and folds up to a length smaller than my hand, maybe 5 inches. It's very short, but would do in a pinch, and is really small to carry around.

Independent Living Aids sells what they call an emergency cane. It does not have a reusable tip, but is very light-wait. It's not very long, not sure of length. NFB independence market also sells telescoping canes. They used to have a mini-cane, but I think they got rid of that one. HTH.

I think Melissa and several others mentioned the use of a cane in
Europe, and Melissa mentioned that it was a telescoping ID type cane,
anyone have any idea how oto get one like this, I don't care where or
how I have to get it?
