[NAGDU] more GDF questions

Hi all, Thank you all so very much for all of your information, GDF sounds
like a grate school!! I'm a picky eater, so the fact that they can and would
be willing to accomidate that is very important to me. This is probably a
really really dumb question, but what are New York's winters like? The
reason that I ask is because where I live (in Manitoba) it gets really cold
(-30C), and sometimes colder then that, and we get lots of snow that stays.
I want to make sure that a dog from GDF would be able to handle that. Do you
think that it'd be better for me to apply to a Canadian school, since this
is something that I'm concerned about? How many studens are typically in a
class? Look forward to hearing back from anyone who can help, sorry for the
