[NAGDU] Rain ponchos

Thanks Danielle, you are right about cleaning salt and dirt out of thick
golden feathering. I've never used rain gear for my dogs but as I get older
and my arthritis gets worse bending down trying to dry off the dog is
getting more difficult. I looked at the Ruffwear SunShower and it sounds
like a good one. Now if only someone would make a coat to protect the furry
legs and tail of a golden we would be all set. Sometimes I think Eva's
golden fur soaks up gallons of water.

Maybe this is because both of my guides, a Lab/Golden and a Golden, have
feathering but I really only find raincoats effective if they cover the
chest and belly in addition to the back. I have the Ruffwear Aira which is
no longer manufactured for Thai, and the Ruffwear SunShower for Jackie.
Both are waterproof, full coverage jackets that are lightweight. I typically
leave the jacket on the dog in public so I don’t need to carry a wet jacket,
but the do fold up pretty small if desired. Cleaning mud and salt out of
feathering is definitely not fun. Some type of rain gear is totally worth it
IMO.
