[NAGDU] Service Dog Questions

Never heard of an agency purchasing a dog for a person either.  The risk of the dog not working out is very high, and as others have stated, there are a lot of variables and costs associated with it.  I spent months for example searching for the right dog, and for one, I do not feel that a rehab agency would take the time to find the best suited dog possible.

I have never heard of an agency purchasing a puppy. The risk of the dog working out is pretty high. I mean the risk of the dog not working out is pretty high so if I were a counselor I’d be pretty hesitant. There are lots of resources out there on how to train your own dog and I am in the process of training my own.
