These haiku were published in the Navigator newsletter for TSE graduates.
The author wrote 1 for each of her dogs.
I think they're great, and wanted to share. If anyone else wants to share
some guide dog poetry or such, I'd be interested.

Haiku, in tribute to my dogs
by Rebecca Lineberger
Title: In The Beginning: A Guide's Lament
"I told you to stop!
Why don't you pay attention!"
Loud Labrador sigh.
Title: Morning Walk
My guide beside me,
Along sidewalks leaf-strewn gold,
eyes calm, paws careful.
Title: Hunger pangs
Nose touching my hand.
Eleven o'clock. "Snack please."
"Yes, now!" Crunch, gulp. "More?"
Title: For My Eagle, His Work Done (August 21, 2019)
Taking care of me,
Gentle, calm, eyes filled with love,
Thank you! Go in peace.
Minx: 1979
Tosca: 1990
Daphne: 1997
Eagle: 2009
