Yes the Beef would be beeter but, the Chicken backs are more flexible to get around the teeth and they are cheap...I got a 40 pound box for $23.00 You can even make chicken broth with some.  Andy and Shubert

I would think the beef bone or pork would be much better for the dog than chicken.
