[NAGDU] Joe's Special recipe from GDB

Hi, everyone,  now I suppose this shows my age really bad!!!! But, I can assure you my memory is still there! 😊 

 

When I attended GDB back in the mid to late 70’s, one of the meals that we had was Joe’s Special. It’s eggs, hamburger and spinach with a few additional things.  I found a recipe on food.com today and made that because I needed to use up my fresh spinach. However, I just don’t remember it being nearly as good as that recipe was. Part of it is that when somebody else cooks, it seems like it always tastes better anyway, but it’s just not the same.  Before I had that meal I had never heard of Joe’s Special and all of us in the class liked it so much we requested the recipe. The recipe was printed in the GDB newsletter back then, too, and of course, that’s long gone from all of my moves.

 

Anyway, if someone is willing to admit being as old as me (grins), and has the recipe, I’d love to have it!

 

I hope this isn’t pushing it to ask on this list for a recipe, but I figured maybe I’d get lucky and find someone who has it.
