Sean, I am wondering why you are so bent on a Shepherd. I would like another one myself. I loved their gaits, and they are so very bright. Also, though, they can be pretty sensitive or stubborn. I didn’t get on well with the other two I had, and while I would like another, I can hardly expect one because of my own track record with them. Why wouldn’t you like to have another Lab? How long are you willing to wait for a dog? I don’t know why you are sour on The Seeing Eye, but maybe you should ask yourself if you shouldn’t explore them as a possibility anyway? Just a few thoughts, and lots of luck.
