[NAGDU] Dogs and TV

Hi folks,

The only thing on TV some of my dogs reacted to were dogs crying as if in
pain, puppies crying loudly for their mother, and squeaky toys. I didnt
think dogs could see and understand what they saw on TV.

I had two cats that reacted to pet food commercials. One cat, we had as
kids, would paw the screen like he did the door window when he wanted to
come back inside. He didnt use his claws so no scratches window or TV
screen. The other cat, that belonged to my girlfriend like to sit on the
piano stool and just stare at whatever moved on the TV. She liked the news
or game shows.

I do wonder what TV looks like to cats and dogs. I know they dont see all
the colors that we do. I've heard cats can see green, blue, and yellow.
Maybe dogs see those colors, too? Both see movement better than humans.
They see better in darkness or very dim light. They have these reflective
cells on their retinas. Makes their eyes shine like headlights when a light
shines in their eyes.

Ari likes squeaky toys on TV. He looks at the TV like where's that toy?
