[NAGDU] Sugar substitute dangerous to dogs

Hi, the only human food I give my dogs is fruit or vegies. I used to give my dogs eggs on a regular basis but went to a lot of trouble making sure there was no shell. Then one of my black dogs got dandruff and I asked my trainer who was visiting at the time if he had any ideas. He asked if I was giving my dog eggs and I said yes, then he asked if that included the shell which of course I said no. My trainer said I needed to give the dog the whole eggshell and all. So, from then on, I have been giving my dogs all of the egg. I haven't given either of my dog's egg for some time but that is mainly because my retired dog gets upset tummy's and I try and stick to his regular diet, so this doesn't happen.

Not sure about bacon, but I've heard of people using raw eggs, olive oil, or regular human grade fish oil pills to promote good skin and coat health.

I guess they just crack a whole egg in the food and stir it up. The only risk is salmonella for people, but washing hands afterward would fix that.  The dog should be fine.

I've used the oil in the food before with mixed results.
