[NAGDU] Everyone in my family with me is allergic to my dog

A standard poodle would probably be your best option. The programs I would recommend for a standard poodle are the Guide Dog Foundation and Guide Dogs of the Desert. A few other programs have the occasional poodle, but these two programs are the ones that have consistently put in the effort over an extended period of time to develop a good poodle line. Last I heard, the Seeing Eye was only giving poodles to people who had a poodle from them in the past; I would contact them to verify this. Because the number of poodles is limited, the weight can be a while. it isn’t uncommon to wait one to two years, though being a retrain may make this shorter.

> Hi all! For the past few years I have been facing an issue which at some point is going to need to be resolved. I am married with two children. My current service dog is a black lab from the Seeing eye. She’s a really great dog and my family really love her! She will be six at the end of September. Shortly after coming home. It became very apparent that my two children had inherited my husbands dog allergy. Everyone loves the dog! She’s very sweet and a member of the Family! However, when it comes to the fourth dog in my life, I really think I need one that doesn’t shed. Have any of you come across this problem and how did you solve it? Right now we live off Zyrtec and nose spray. Thanks for any help! I would also add that I deeply deeply admire people who train their own service dogs! but I need to have one that is trained for me.
