[NAGDU] Flying with our dogs these days

Hello Tara and all,
I usually fly American since DFW airport is a major hub for that airline.
I think each airline has a slightly different approach to the DOT forms.
If you make a reservation with American complete the form and then submit
it on the special assistance portal, you will get a notification that your
service dog has been cleared for travel. You will then get a service animal
id number so that you don't have to complete the form each time you fly on
American. I think the id is good for one year.
Honestly, I think asking us to complete steps that other passengers don't
have to take is an unfair burden for those of us with service dogs.

Best to all,

Liz
