SUCH A GREAT IDEA!
The major street that runs through our neighborhood will be under
construction for the better part of the year.
I'll definitely be checking in often with AIRA!

Subject: [NAGDU] AIRA and getting around

I've been using AIRA in a way I don't hear other people say, so I thought
I'd mention it.

I get them to use Google Earth or Google Maps and tell me things like, on
this busy street in my town, which cross-streets have traffic lights? Or,
exactly where is this address? What side of the street is it on?

I have a couple GPS apps, but neither of them tell me something like this.
I guess they assume I'll see the place I want to go across the street. And
I've had GPS tell me to cross a busy street where there is no light. Easy
enough to do in a car; fatal otherwise.

I can find out stuff before I even leave the house and make a good route
plan. Quite handy.

I have the 30-minute package, but, with the free 5 minutes every day, it's
plenty for me.

Tracy
