[NAGDU] Toothpaste

Karen Shaw Becker DVM has a D Y I toothpaste on her website Planit Paws.  The recipe is:

2 tablespoons baking soda
2 tablespoons coconut oil
And one drop peppermint oil optional.
Mix well.

My husband did some more research, and I was confusing xylitol with sorbitol.  They're both sweeteners, but xylitol is the toxic one.  So my toothpaste is OK.  But we also found options with better ingredients, which is also good.

Well, if it were me, and I’ve been having good results for numbers of years, I just wouldn’t worry about it. I could be way off base on that , but I still feel that way.
