Ruffwear has a high-quality waterproof rechargeable light you attach to the
harness handle.
The light mechanism detaches for re charging.
It does have an audible tone pattern most people can hear when turning the
light on or off, however, it's difficult for people with hearing loss to
hear it.
Ideally, we need a rechargeable light that's accessible for people who are
totally blind and cannot hear.
Kind regards,
Susan & Christopher

I really like the idea of lights for the harness handle. I have had a
number of these over the years in my store. All are gone now. Some because
they weren't accessible except with a light detector app, others because
they weren't very sturdy. The current lights that I sell are really great,
except I can't get them anymore sadly. They are sturdy, very bright and the
power button vibrates when you press it so you can tell if the light is
constant on, flashing or off. I would love to see these available for sale
because I think they are a really great product. If the Independence Market
can find someone to manufacture these I think they would be popular for both
guide dog and cane users.
Julie
