[NAGDU] Airlines and Dogfood

I always carry my dog's food, or at least a couple days worth, in my carry-on bag. I've never had a problem with the airlines about it. Sometimes, if I'm going to visit family and friends for an extended time, I'll send a bag of dog food there or have them pick one up.

Subject: [NAGDU] Airlines and Dogfood

Greetings All,

Izzo and I will be flying to Baltimore next week and I'm trying to decide how best to carry her food. My original thought was to transport it in my carry on bag, so that we'll have it with us in the event of an unexpected luggage mishap or extended delay.

Of course, we've flown a few times before, but it's been close to a year, and, for some reason, I can't seem to recall what I did last time. Then Of course, the airline regs are ever-changing. Wouldn't want to have the food confiscated.

What do you all typically do?

Diane Graves
