Hi;

I think a lot depends on the dog as well as how often treats are used.  I
had a dog which used treats while I was in class with him and never could
get him to stop inhailing things.  The good news was that although he
positively loved leaves and sticks they didn't seem to make him sick.  This
is also a question you have to consider when thinking about your next dog.
If a school's philosophy includes use of treats in class and at home you
have to decide if that is something that works for you and your partner.
Saying absolutely no treats at a school that is committed to use of treats
in class might not be a good idea.
