Hi all,

I just wanted to tell you that I’m finally on the waiting list for my guide dog successor. I started three applicationin February and decided during the process that Freedom Guide Dogs was the best choice for me and not Guide Dog Foundation nor Seeing Eyes for the Blind, campus trining wouldn’t work for me. I’d my home visit in May and got the letter the official letter two weeks ago that I’m on the waiting list. I’d a good experience and I felt that they understood which kind of guide dog I need, they understood that my mobility and orientation training etc. was different than for an American. The process went very smoothly, and thanks G-d, I also got a good recommendation letter from where I got my first guide dog. Now, I’ll see if they‘ve a guide dog for me this fall or if I need to wait a bit longer. So excited!
