I use unscented baby wipes to clean my dog's ear. It's important that they are unscented. You wrap it around a finger and get up in the ear and clean. Also get the inside part of the ear flap if you have a labrador.

Subject: [NAGDU] Question re: Ear Cleaning Solutions and Methods

Greetings All,

I'm wondering which products you all have found useful for cleaning your dogs ears? I usually let the groomer handle this, but I took Izzo to the vet for vaccinations today and the doctor said her ears were looking a little dirty.

She isn't due for another grooming appointment for a while, so I wanted to find out which products you all are using and get a crash course in the general techniques for getting the job done. I received home training, and this isn't a process the instructor went over with me.

Any information appreciated.

Diane Graves
