Hi;

It is important to note that the effectiveness of many of the commands
mentioned previously will vary from school to school and team to team.
Unfortunately not all dogs are created equal.

As for horses, forgive the pun but I think you may be beating a dead horse.
Now if you just want the guide horse to walk around the neighborhood that
might be something you can manage.  If, however, you plan on shopping, going
to work, riding the bus and maybe stopping for lunch you will probably meet
some big time resistance.  I think many guide dog handlers are finding life
to be more difficult particularly when it comes to things like ride share
and airlines.  If they have issues with a dog they will have definite issues
with a horse.
