Lol, are the dogs they put out these days whimps or what? I go for walks with my guide, who is a short-coated doberman all winter long in the minnesota weather. I do not go on long walks if it’s below 15F or so but, i will take a bus. I take an uber if it’s 10F or below. I put a coat on my single coated doberman if the temps are below 20F or so. I walk in all sorts of heat up to 95F or so. If it’s hotter than that i take a bus or an uber. I wouldn’t even think twice about going for a nice long walk if it’s 27F lol. Have fun.

Some years ago, I started hearing that you shouldn't take your dog out for too long if the temperatures were in the low thirties or lower. I became more cautious with my previous dog and Sheldon, but I don't remember exactly what I heard and would like a better guage. Sheldon is Rocket Dog in the Winter and Turtle Dog in the summer, and I'd like to give him the chance to be Rocket Dog more often if it won't be dangerous.
